West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Wranglers now own a 15-11 record. They take the field next when they host Spruce for a 5A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 19. West Mesquite will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Adams falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Conrad (Dallas, TX) to face the Chargers in a 5A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
