North Carolina High School Softball - Ashley East Columbus

April 18, 2024: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

The East Columbus Gators softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle to 4 in the Gators non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, East Columbus improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Gators travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Scorpions come into the game with a record of 4-13. North Brunswick lost 6-2 in their recent league game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)

In their next game, the Screaming Eagle clash with the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Friday, April 19. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 9-4 record after their 11-1 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

East Columbus
