Kansas High School Softball - Piper bounces Basehor-Linwood

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Piper Pirates softball team scored a tight 5-0 win over the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats.
The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The PIONEERS come into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Leavenworth was routed by Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS), 16-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 22. Basehor-Linwood will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS).
