The Easley Green Wave softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Berea Bulldogs to 2 in the Green Wave league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Easley improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Green Wave host Pendleton (Pendleton, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 10-6. Pendleton lost 14-2 in their recent non-league game against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) in a AAAA Region 1 game, on Friday, April 19. Berea will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Blue Flame come into the game with a 1-6 record after their 7-5 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, SC).
