In Thursday's league outing, the host Grayson County Cougars softball team scored a close 10-9 win over the Butler County Bears.
Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 19. Grayson County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Purples enter the outing with a 4-13 record after their 18-0 league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY).
The Bears (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons enter the non-league outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Madisonville-North Hopkins was tipped by McCracken County (Paducah, KY), 8-2, in a non-league outing.
