Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Carrollton Warriors (Carrollton, OH), 15-7 in a league challenge.

The Dukes now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ontario for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Marlington will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Carrollton falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH) to face the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Indian Creek lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV)
