Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Hawthorne will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Centennial falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA) to battle the Normans in a Ocean challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Normans enter the challenge with a record of 5-5.
