In Thursday's league outing, the host Colfax Vikings softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Glenwood City Hilltoppers.
Coming up next, the Vikings battle the Mondovi Buffaloes (Mondovi, WI) in a Dunn - St. Croix outing, on Friday, April 19. Colfax will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Buffaloes enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Durand-Arkansaw (Durand, WI).
The Hilltoppers (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Amery (Amery, WI). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Amery ran past Osceola (Osceola, WI), 10-9, in a league outing.
