In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Monticello Billies softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Crossett Eagles.
Coming up next, the Billies encounter the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 20. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 18-0 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 19-2 record after their 12-1 league win over Central (Little Rock, AR).
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Drew Central (Monticello, AR). The Pirates enter the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Drew Central was routed by McGehee (McGehee, AR), 6-2, in a league outing.
