The Dell Rapids Quarriers overwhelmed the host Tri-Valley Mustangs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Quarriers meet the Tea Titans (Tea, SD) in a Class A challenge, on Saturday, April 27. Dell Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Tanagers go into the Class A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Vermillion toppled Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD), 12-3, in a non-league challenge.
