The Elk Mound Mounders triumphed over the host Spring Valley Cardinals softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Mounders meet the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers (Durand, WI) in a Dunn - St. Croix challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Elk Mound will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
The Cardinals (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mondovi (Mondovi, WI). The Buffaloes enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record.
