In Thursday's league contest, the Good Hope Raiders (Cullman, AL) softball team held off the visiting West Morgan Rebels (Trinity, AL), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Good Hope moves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Raiders host Hanceville (Hanceville, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 13 contest on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-17. Hanceville lost 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Addison (Addison, AL)
In their next game, the Rebels play the Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 19. West Morgan will attempt to move on its 14-15 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 20-11 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL).
