Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 22-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gibbs for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Halls will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 17-10.

With the loss, Karns falls to 19-7 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Cocke County (Newport, TN) to battle the Fighting Cocks in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Fighting Cocks enter the challenge with a record of 13-4. Cocke County won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TN)
