Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), 12-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar for a 4A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Hurricane will face a Reds squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Reds record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Pine View falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Panthers host Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to face the Thunder in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 18-2. Desert Hills won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
