Michigan High School Softball - Kent City bounces Sparta

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Kent City Eagles softball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Sparta Spartans.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mohawks come into the Central State Activities Association-Gold match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Morley Stanwood was routed by Lakeview (Lakeview, MI), 18-13, in a league match.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 19. Sparta will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
