In Thursday's league match, the host Kimball Cubs softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Paynesville Bulldogs.
The Cubs (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN). The Irish come into the Central Minnesota match with a 1-3 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 20. Paynesville will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 12-2 league win over Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN).
