The Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) softball routed the host Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 9-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Warriors (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals go into the Central bout with a 7-2 record.
The Royals now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Hermitage for a non-league bout on Monday, April 22. Prince George will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-6 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
