The McDonough Rams softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Thomas Stone Cougars to 12 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, McDonough moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Rams travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Southern Maryland game on Monday, April 22. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 11-3. Northern won 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Monday, April 22. Thomas Stone will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 2-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
