The Providence Catholic Celtics softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Montini Catholic Broncos to 5 in the Celtics league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Providence Catholic moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Celtics travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to clash with the Friars in a GCAC- Red game on Saturday, April 20. The Friars come into the game with a record of 7-3. Fenwick won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. Montini Catholic will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 10-2 league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
