North Harrison Cougars (Ramsey, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Salem Lions (Salem, IN), 15-7 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tell City for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. North Harrison will battle a Marksmen squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Washington (Washington, IN). The Marksmen record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Salem falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to South Central (Elizabeth, IN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. South Central won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN)
