The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX), saw Pieper's baseball team get by Boerne by a tally of 5-4.

The Warriors (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 9-16 record. In their last battle, Canyon was tipped by San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 8-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Greyhounds face the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 battle, on Saturday, April 19. Boerne will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 6-18 record after their 14-1 league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
