The Boiling Springs Bulldogs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Spartanburg Vikings to 3 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Gaffney for a 5A Region 2 test on Monday, April 21. Boiling Springs will clash with a Indians team coming off a 15-4 league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Indians record now stands at 7-12.
With the defeat, Spartanburg drops to 8-12 on the year. The Vikings travel to Eastside (Taylors, SC) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Region 2 test on Monday, April 21. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 12-8. Eastside lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC)
