Kentucky High School Baseball - Somerset loses to Boyle County

April 18, 2025: Danville, KY 40422

In Friday's non-league bout, the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), by a tally of 12-2.

Next up, the Rebels encounter the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Boyle County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY).

The Briar Jumpers (7-11) will now prepare for their bout against Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Elizabethtown overcame John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 16-3, in a league bout.
