The Bracken County Polar Bears triumphed over the visiting Holmes Bulldogs baseball squad by a score of 20-9 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Polar Bears encounter the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 21. Bracken County will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Braves enter the outing with a 9-6 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY).
The Bulldogs (3-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds go into the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Newport Central Catholic was overwhelmed by Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
