The Cass Tech Technicians baseball team scored 24 runs and held the host Mumford Mustangs to 3 in the Technicians league win on Friday.

The Technicians now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Cass Tech will play a Rockets team coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to Melvindale (Melvindale, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 1-10.

With the defeat, Mumford drops to 0-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Western International (Detroit, MI) to play the Cowboys in a Detroit Public - Southwest test on Tuesday, April 22. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 9-3. Western International lost 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Brighton (Brighton, MI)
