Massachusetts High School Baseball - Putnam Vo-Tech wallops Commerce

The Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Commerce Red Raiders to 3 in the Beavers non-league win on Friday.

The Beavers now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sci-Tech/Springfield Renaissance for a test on Wednesday, April 23. Putnam Vo-Tech will play a CyberCats team coming off a 33-2 non-league loss to Westfield Technical Academy (Westfield, MA). The CyberCats record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Commerce drops to 0-5 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Smith Vo-Tech (Northampton, MA) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 6-0. Smith Vo-Tech won 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA)
