In Friday's league game, the visiting Emporia Spartans baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Topeka Trojans.
The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Great Bend was overwhelmed by Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS), 10-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Trojans play the St. Mary's Academy Crusaders (St. Marys, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 22. Topeka will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Kansas City East Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO).
