The River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) baseball trounced the host Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), 13-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Pilots now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Frontier for a Ohio Valley Athletic AA challenge on Friday, April 18. River will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 8-5 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Magnolia drops to 3-9 on the year. The Blue eagles travel to St. Marys (St. Marys, WV) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. St. Marys won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Clay County (Clay, WV)
