Indiana High School Baseball - Princeton defeats Mt. Carmel

April 18, 2025: Princeton, IN 47670

The Princeton Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Mt. Carmel Golden Aces to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evansville Reitz for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Princeton will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Mt. Carmel drops to 8-5 on the year. The Golden aces host Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL) to clash with the Indians in a Little Illini test on Monday, April 21. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-3. Lawrenceville lost 10-3 in their recent league test against Richland County (Olney, IL)
