With the defeat, Staunton River drops to 5-4 on the year. The Golden eagles host William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to clash with the Terriers in a Blue Ridge challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Terriers go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. William Byrd lost 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Auburn (Riner, VA)
