Kansas High School Baseball - Olathe South holds off Northwest

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) and the host Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS), saw Olathe South's baseball team gain a win over Northwest by a tally of 9-5.
The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS). The Ravens enter the Sunflower battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Olathe Northwest was overwhelmed by Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 10-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Grizzlies face the Goddard Lions (Goddard, KS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 21. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS).
