The Rattan Rams baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Valliant Bulldogs to 0 in the Rams non-league win on Friday.
The Rams now hold a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Red Oak for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Rattan will play a Eagles team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Wister (Wister, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 13-6.
With the defeat, Valliant drops to 17-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Indians go into the test with a record of 10-12. Tishomingo won 8-3 in their recent league test against Madill (Madill, OK)
