California High School Volleyball - Pacifica Ventura

Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) followers left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad notch a victory over the host Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Ventura improves its record to 14-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 7-5. Channel Islands won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA)

The Tritons now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buena for a Channel battle on Tuesday, April 22. Pacifica will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-13.
