Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) and the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), saw Clayton-Ridge's soccer squad knock off New Hampton by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, MFL MarMac by North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Chickasaws battle the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 24. New Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pella (Pella, IA).
