In Friday's league outing, the host James F. Byrnes Rebels soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Dorman Cavaliers.

The Rebels (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Vikings go into the AAAAA Region 2 outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Spartanburg was edged by Eastside (Taylors, SC), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 outing, on Monday, April 21. Dorman will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 3-12 record after their 10-4 league loss to Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
