Arizona High School Baseball - Apollo wallops West Point

The Apollo Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting West Point Dragons to 1 in the Hawks league win on Friday.
The Hawks now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cesar Chavez for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Apollo will play a Champions team coming off a 12-10 league loss to Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 5-9.
With the defeat, West Point drops to 6-8 on the year. The Dragons host Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to play the Wolverines in a test on Tuesday, April 22. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 6-8. Tolleson lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ)
