Nevada High School Baseball - Yerington defeats Mineral County

The Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) baseball trounced the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 13-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Truckee for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23.

With the defeat, Mineral County drops to 1-5 on the year. The Serpents host Tonopah (Tonopah, NV) to clash with the Muckers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. The Muckers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
