Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), 12-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Cibola upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. The Bears enter the game with a record of 8-3.

The Storm now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a game on Tuesday, April 22. Cleveland will play a Scorpions squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 8-5.
