In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakeland Eagles lacrosse squad scored a good 14-5 win over the Lapeer Lightning.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Kettering beat Bay City Western (Auburn, MI), 13-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Lightning meet the Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Lapeer will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Glenn (Bay City, MI).
