Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN), 13-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Martinsville improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Artesians travel to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to face the Quakers in a Mid-State game on Tuesday, April 22. The Quakers enter the game with a record of 8-1.
