Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA), 16-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Chiawana improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Riverhawks host Hermiston (Hermiston, WA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Friday, April 18. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Hermiston lost 24-18 in their recent league challenge against Kennewick (Kennewick, WA)

The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Riverhawks go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Chiawana toppled Pasco (Pasco, WA), 15-2, in a league challenge.
