In Friday's league test, the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), by a tally of 8-7.

Next, the Eagles meet the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) in a Northern Lakes test, on Monday, April 21. Clay will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 7-1 league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH).

The Blue Devils (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Watkins Memorial held off Granville (Granville, OH), 15-3, in a league test.
