Oregon High School Softball - Sherwood can't get by Forest Grove

The Forest Grove Vikings edged the host Sherwood Bowmen softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) in a 6A Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Forest Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Century (Hillsboro, OR).

The Bowmen (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Hillsboro, OR). The Falcons enter the 6A Pacific challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Liberty was nudged by Newberg (Newberg, OR), 6-2, in a league challenge.
