In Friday's league test, the Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) softball squad got by the visiting Plymouth Bobcats (Plymouth, NH), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Sachems meet the Kennett Eagles (Conway, NH) in a Division II test, on Monday, April 21. Laconia will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Milford (Milford, NH).
The Bobcats (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Pelham (Pelham, NH). The Pythons go into the Division II test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Pelham was nudged by Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH), 13-3, in a league test.
