Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers (Northfield, MA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA), 22-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Pioneer Valley Regional upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Panthers host Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league game on Monday, April 21. The Golden Hawks enter the game with a record of 1-1.
The Senators now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mohawk Trail Regional for a PVIAC - Franklin East game on Monday, April 21. Mahar Regional will play a Warriors squad coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
