Virginia High School Baseball - Bishop Ireton loses to DeMatha

The DeMatha Stags triumphed over the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals baseball squad by a score of 13-0 in Saturday's league outing.

Next up, the Stags battle the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference outing, on Tuesday, April 21. DeMatha will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Falcons come into the outing with a 11-9 record after their 16-5 league win over The Heights (Potomac, MD).

The Cardinals (2-14) will now prepare for their outing against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Wolves come into the non-league outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic toppled Brooke Point (Stafford, VA), 10-5, in a non-league outing.
