The Kickapoo Chiefs baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Liberty Blue Jays to 4 in the Chiefs non-league win on Saturday.

The Chiefs now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ozark for a Class 6 District 6 test on Tuesday, April 21. Kickapoo will play a Tigers team coming off a 8-2 league win over Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.

With the defeat, Liberty moves to 14-8 on the season. The Blue jays host Howell Central (St. Charles, MO) to confront the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 21. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 13-7. Howell Central won 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Holt (Wentzville, MO)
