New York High School Baseball - Westfield holds off Maple Grove

April 18, 2026: Bemus Point, NY 14712

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Westfield Wolverines (Westfield, NY) and the host Maple Grove Red Dragons (Bemus Point, NY), saw Westfield's baseball team gain a win over Maple Grove by a tally of 7-3.

The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Thunderbirds enter the CCAA II West battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Chautauqua Lake was overwhelmed by Frewsburg (Frewsburg, NY), 11-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Red Dragons face the Salamanca Warriors (Salamanca, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 18. Maple Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
