Illinois High School Softball - Hononegah bounces Jacobs

April 18, 2026: Rockton, IL 61072

The Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) softball routed the visiting Jacobs Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 18-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 outing on Monday, April 20. Hononegah will encounter a Blue Thunder team coming off a 7-0 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Jacobs moves to 9-10 on the season. The Eagles host Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL) to encounter the Chargers in a Fox Valley outing on Monday, April 20. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 5-11. Dundee-Crown won 11-1 in their recent non-league outing against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)
