New York High School Softball - Peru Plattsburgh

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Peru Nighthawks softball team scored a tight 18-15 victory over the Plattsburgh Hornets.

The Nighthawks (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Chiefs go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Saranac was routed by Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY), 9-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match, on Saturday, April 18. Plattsburgh will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 1-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Saranac (Saranac, NY).
